About the Workshop:
A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) identifies, selects, and critically evaluates research to address a specific research topic.
SLR follow a strict scientific design that is based on a detailed, transparent, and replicable approach of collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing literature to answer a well-defined issue.
SLRs can also be used to highlight research gaps in existing understanding of an area and hence influence future study. Researchers who acquire SLR knowledge and abilities will be able to strengthen their understanding on the particular area of interest, develop new research ideas, and obtain critical skills to synthesize available literature.
This workshop aims to assist researchers in understanding the major components of an SLR as well as acquiring the key skills required to conduct their own reviews.
